No worries. I think halos would look fine. But maybe consider painting your grill guard one color. I would go with a dark ultra matte black and go for the black on blue look. That would clash less with the halos and wouldn't distract from them. Also, they would stand out a whole lot better without the flashy chrome catching your eye or reflecting the halos

Since Jan when someone ran into my Denali I have been slowly bringing it back to life.
I have decided against repainting the whole front end and went with Satin black Avery Vinyl wrap, going as far as removing everything and installing new satin handles after the wrap in complete.
I am using 3M primer and edge sealer on every edge to insure the wrap will last a very long time.

It will probably take about a month to finish due to being so busy with work but it will be done right and I am doing some PDR on various panels.

This is where it is at now and one thing I can say is if anyone plans on taking off the cladding you will definitely need a 3M eraser wheel to get the rock hard double sided tape off of the body, took me about 2hrs to get it all off and cleaned up.

Haven't posted in a while...

Did a few things to the Denali:

1. First thing was i reinstalled my RTD fuse, i put 25w 3.9 ohm resistors in for fooling of the shocks. Had to reinstall my front height sensor so the light wouldn't be on. Let me say what a difference in ride. I didn't know that i had sensitive steering in the yuk which is controlled by RTD fuse. The steering gets stiffer as your speeds increase what a difference in ride the wheel feels firmer and the fronts not all over the place wish i did this 2 years ago. So if you have the RTD fuse pulled id look into it.

2nd. I replaced a broken rear djm sway bar link and set bolts at 30 pounds made sure it moved freely. Also removed the lower coil spring isolators to drop it a tad. Also did shock extenders and I'm even more happy with the rear end. It rides 10X better just smoother and trucks more stable.

i have djm lca with bilstien shocks up front. It better due to the fact the steering isn't so soft anymore. Before wheel would shake and move a lot more then it does now. I noticed the difference right away which helps with the ride. Also tracked better not all over the place when I hit bumps because there was resistance on the wheels now. Before my wheel was soft easy to move. Way better now. Hope you follow that lol.

Last weekend I replaced rear shocks and front sway bar end links. Already feels better than it did with blown air bags all around.

Installed new leather drivers seat bottom.

Washed her.

Fuel pump

Replaced my Fuel pump today after work it took about 3 hours by my self start to finish not that bad of a job.

The Yukon was getting hard to start after it sat for a couple hours and in the mornings so I had a good idea what it was the cause.

And it seemed to be getting worse as time went by.

I read somewhere a bad fuel pump can effect the MPG also I see if get any better MPG now.

I put a Factory GM pump the last one lasted 170K so this new one should do the same.

Holy shit. These are all parts I need to replace since my new suspension tweaks since I'm sitting at 180k. I'm glad you posted here. I was thinking I'd spend just that on a pitman arm. I still haven't replace a busted front swaybar end link since my local autoparts store can't seem to stock the right size.

I've checked the local custom offroad performance shop in hopes of finding a set of quick disconnect links but no luck. My O'Reilly shop has a Moog part but the link sleeve is too long. I'm just thinking about cutting the moog part to size with a hack saw since I have the old link for a size reference and its an aluminum sleeve. Short work for a hack saw.

I'm just tired of my Hoe handling like shit in the corners.

I should have purchased uca ball joints and bushings. Damnit. That would put me around $100. I got moog end links on Amazon. Much cheaper on rockauto.

Wouldn't you like to have longer links with your lift? ~2" longer links would probably be ideal.
