I miss green lawns, all brown in CA.
Yeah man. I guess a brown lawn is better than being out of water though. I haven't washed my Tahoe in months.

Exhaust video clip. Didn't have much time, so it's not the best clip.

Sweet I just did this brake upgrade at all 4 corners - Well worth it - Be sure to properly break in those rotors n pads properly immediately after install - many people forget this crucial step

Wired in resistors for LED tails so I have cruise control again.

Then got a few goodies care of rock auto.

I can't wait until my brakes are worn out on this rig! Doing the NNBS brake upgrade. Those look great though.

The dirt looks good on your 'hoe now that it's lifted. Go cover it in mud. :)

Nice choice. I just did mine with this same kit a few weeks ago. Changed out the brake fluid and power steering fluid yesterday. Pretty happy overall with the results and good looks too. I did the break in procedure exactly as it is outlined on the box.

Quick question, will doing color change halos on my tahoe with a grill guard look bad? Should I take the guard off if I really want to do the halos?

What does your grill guard look like? I don't really think it would look bad either way but it'd be helpful to see your guard

I'd love to find those for $500, killer deal.

What rubber you wrappin em with?

They look brand new. I'm undecided on tires but looked at the Nitto 420s and the Michelin LTX M/S2 just because of the 75k mile warranty. It'll be a week or 2 before I have time to get to a shop so I have time to consider others. I know the factory tire size is 275/55 but would rather have a smaller profile. Guess I'll see where my impulses lead me in a week or 2!

I'm with you! Where u find these for $500!!??

Craigslist. Guy said he bought them and totaled the Tahoe before he put them on. Looks like they are replicas and brand new but still think $500 was a good deal. Caps are OEM GM caps though. Also threw in a set of gorilla lug nuts. I don't know if they cost much but they all have to have the key to remove.

Updated my build thread with some recent work (noted below) and more pictures.

Had brake and power steering fluids flushed.
Polished out roof and coated entire truck again with Collinite's 845 Insulator Wax.
Installed the color matched front lower valance.
Lexol leather conditioned the seats.
Test fit my new custom truck cover.
Took her for a spin as she needed a run down the road.
Admired her again before watching the Derby and the big Fight. :)

At 147k miles. Replaced original front shocks with Monroe Reflex. These are nice for the price. Ride improved over the worn originals. Also replaced original front brakes and rotors with ACDelco OEM. Got decent prices on them from Amazon. Original pads still had 50% left on them! Rotors were fine too but replaced it all anyway. Amazing. This thing is a beast.
