I just put my interior back together. I pulled all the seats and a bunch of the trim, rented a rug cleaning machine and went nuts this weekend- total two and a half days in the job. Took way too much time - I can't image how much coffee was spilled in the carpet and on the seats but I think I finally got most of it out. I wish I could do the headliner to get that cigarette smoke smell out.

Drove it back from Cinncinnati, where we spent the holiday weekend going to a Reds game and chillin around town. The Tahoe performed like a champ as usual but I wish I had been able to get the new tire/wheel package swapped out and installed before I started out on our trip...

got a tint ticket in Hurst,Tx,pulled me over and the meter read 4% he said it had to read at least 25%, he didnt say anything about no front license plate or my back up camera drilled into my back license plate
ticket is $207 or pull it off and the judge may or may not dismiss it
either way I can get it re-tinted for $50 bucks

Removed the Hypertech tune, removed Spectre CAI and sold them to save up for a Volant true CAI and a Black Bear Tune :).

Hopefully the rims I want are still available by next Friday and going back to a key and spacer lift....... Tired of my Tahoe looking like every other Tahoe on the road and now that I have a commuter car, don't care about mpg at the moment :)

Replaced a busted front passenger window. ******* kids. At least my alarm scared them off before they grabbed anything.
Happened in the parking lot at JC Pennys, just as my wife and I were walking out. Heard all fifteen sirens from my alarm go off, looked over at the truck and saw the guy jump into a car and drive off. They were too far away so we missed the plates.
And I know the guy pissed himself; I'm sure he wasnt expecting that much noise. Those 15 sirens and the horn blaring is ear piercing LOUD!

Changed front pads and rotors with slotted EBC rotors and hawk pads.

Flushed the cooling system and changed the hoses and serpentine belts.

I changed the fuel purge solenoid, Hopefully I can put gas in it now. Spare tire removal was the biggest pain, thankfully I wasn't on the highway inthe rain.
