Replaced the rear hatch shocks last night. And the steering wheel buttons. Life is much better on the Escalade.

So nice when that hatch raises up it's self.... I did the wheel buttons earlier this year.... because of the lights.Replaced the rear hatch shocks last night. And the steering wheel buttons. Life is much better on the Escalade.
I was looking for the Z71 lower airdam for awhile, but I gave up. Looks much better imo.I was actually considering getting those, as I have that SAME Air Dam on my truck. Good to know they fit perfectly in those squared off openings.
I see that your sig says it is an 05. How late in the model year was it made? I know the 06 Silverado and Tahoe and the gmc counterparts and 07 classic Silverados, had a different wiring pattern and programming for the TAC module and TB. So if yours was late enough in the model year it is potentially possible that it got the same treatment. Symptoms of the wrong TB are reduced power warning once tps passes 50%, they seem to mask the issue until that point. My wife discovered we had not successfully resolved whatever the eff is causing limp mode. So sick of this damn thing.
The gas pedal module is between the brake booster and the fender bolted up to the firewallThanks! That's really helpful. AFAIK, the pedal hasn't been looked at, though the throttle body, it's harness, and the connector on the Suburban have all been replaced. But the pedal ground and pedal sensor are interesting...
So, that's what that little square thing is.....The gas pedal module is between the brake booster and the fender bolted up to the firewall
Yeap. So, that's what that little square thing is.....
Using these on my 03 Z71. Direct replacement.. nice and bright but a little pricey.Roadshock LED 3 inch spot from Harbor Freight
I was very surprised at how well they fit, just a couple washers and a splice into the wiring and you're good to goI was actually considering getting those, as I have that SAME Air Dam on my truck. Good to know they fit perfectly in those squared off openings.
I've seen the wiring pigtail at the throttle body have issues, usually the yellow wire breaks inside the insulation where the connector pin is crimped onto it. Will cause the truck to randomly go into limp mode. Best way to fix is buy a replacement pigtail and splice it in. I've fixed several of these with the same issue. My wife discovered we had not successfully resolved whatever the eff is causing limp mode. So sick of this damn thing.
But it's pimp......Considered buying this....Seriously though this poor eske didn't deserve this.

Or you have the 05 and earlier programming like it should have, and the TB is for a later model.
P.S. the plugs are the same, but pinned differently.
Is black the only color available in plastidip?i could not stand looking at the missing clear coat and paint on my hood. so i tried plastidip gloss on it and the wheels. cause the wheels looked like dog ass too. im not to happy with the hood, but the wheels came out dame good.
