I’m sorry you went through so much of your life with such small nuts.

Now I gotta be more careful with the zipper and sitting down too fast. :D

The one on the left is for vehicles with plastic wheel covers. 96 Buick Century had those.

Yep the grooves hold the plastic cap lug covers on. They also have a bigger conical end which seats much better in the wheels and have more thread. Hopefully they help keep me from breaking any more lug studs. The smaller nuts came off my trailer I think, not sure but they definitely seem to cheap for a fullsize truck.

Refreshed the Steps
As long as you have them off paint the frame rails. If I spent that much time removing them I would probably leave them off. They are great mud and rock guards but snow and slush stick to the bottom and then fall off on the garage floor.

Went to my local dirt track for further suspension testing, I used to avoid washboard roads at all costs buts the Viking shocks tame them substantially. Of course I had to snap some pics with the good lighting and contrast with the orange clay.

That road would be a blast. It would be the only time other than on snow I could actually spin the tires on my 285 hp Yuke.
