The flasher change is one of two items to tackle. You should be running CAN BUS type LED lights or the version with resistors built in the individual bulbs.

If you’ve installed a complete led light assembly you’ll need to install a resistor in line on some or all of the brake, turns and running lights.

Been driving it frequently the past few weeks back and forth on a house demo/remodel project. Washed her up today and tucked her in the garage, going to drive another of my vehicles for a few weeks.

here it is from last weekend:

Still need to do mine. Planning on 2-3 layers right over the display glass..

I did 2 layers on the glass and it’s still not that blue but if I add more it’s gonna be too dark.

Mine on my S10 was sharp and blue just like @mwilson62000's is. I may have done more, but I thought for sure it was just two layers. I only put them over the window in the overlay.

Hmm.. weird. Wonder what @mwilson62000 did to his...

I just used one layer of a “gel lighting sheet” I got a multi-pack of them at a local Guitar store that sells lighting and stage accessories. Just trial and error before I found the right color I liked. Been a few years since I did it, not sure if I kept the sheets. I’ll look.

Went to the muffler shop on Wednesday and had true dual exhaust installed with a couple of glass packs mufflers.
Doesn't sound like it drones at all. Were you using engine braking on the highway? Kinda sounded like it was popping or reverberating. Did you use 2 Cherry Bomb mufflers?

Yeah, I was in second gear. It was popping and backfiring on decel. It has two generic cherrybombs side by side in the approximate area the old muffler was located.

That's the same set up I have on my '04. Bolts right in and uses your original brake lines too. As an aside, this is the second vehicle I have had the Power Stop brakes on (2015 Camaro) and they have been great.

Thanks man. Thats what I needed to hear. Went ahead and pulled the trigger on the 07+ upgrade then. Just gotta wait till next weekend for it to get here now. And also gonna look around at rear kits.

Powerstop makes a set for the rear for the 00-06 which would match those fronts
