Changed the oil @ 265k (High Mileage Full syn Super Tech 5/30 and Fram Ultra Syn filter). My lifters are nice and quiet with Super Tech. Replaced the oil cooler block off plate gasket, AGAIN and tightened much more this time. stupid leak...

Found the source of my horrible steering: Steering gear.

Which brands have everyone used with good result? Im thinking the AC Delco Pro reman on Amazon Prime for $139 after core return....

Not sure about your options for the steering box, but personally, I’d avoid Delco “PRO” products if at all possible. They’re junk.
