Get a bike hook and 5 gallon bucket and a hose drilled into the bottom. Easy fix to move the water. I couldn't have sewer water dropping on that pretty car.

2004 Z71 Suburban Green I have a few upgrades done.

good idea but wont work in this case, when the the garage door is open its like oh 6 inches from the ceiling, and the pipe. why im opting for the plastic stapled up there, its only 3 foot from the wall, so not like its a far run.

forgot to mention, they also got fire sprinklers over each car. so if the place catches fire and dont fall in on its self it might survive lol

so washed the hoe the other day. and of course it raining today...my life.... but it still goods even wet. oh and it set a knock sensor code for me too, cleared it and waiting for it to come back. we know it will, so intake R & R time soon. View attachment 220361

got my SS stashed in the garage here at my apt building, only 2 issues. i got a sewer pipe over head and found out it leaks sometimes, lovely. splatter on my hood.

the bottom of the doors have no weather stripping, so when the landscrapers come blowing by the doors they blow dust and dirt in the garage and yup, all over my clean car....

so its inside, gets wet and dirty. not to happy about this at all so far.

but theres more lol i did a gen 5 blower and a north star tb with ls maf on my regal gs. tuning went well, car hauls ass. only i started to hear a clanging sound and i really thought i busted a rod till i un hooked the coils and heard the clang while cranking it. turns out i busted the flexplate. yea me i get to pull its engine out again... when you hear the sound go way i raised the throttle maybe 100 rpm what lead me to not think it was not a rod, and i have good oil pressure still. then heard it when cranking it over while under the tc,,i was like bingo!!! got ya!!!

Got the same issue in my van, and it happened to my old van too.

thats what i expect to find on mine. never broke one before.

think i know what did it in tho, i found out it does rolling burn outs at 30 mph with out flooring it, so i did a few of those before it let go. or it could have been the 20 plus wot pulls from a dig i did while tuning it. while tuning the meth in i was running 13º wot timing to be safe and not blow it up, and it was already faster feeling then the old set up. finally got the meth and maf tuned in and got a good pull in and found my injectors maxed out, the 2.8 pulley was just to much, so i upped to a 3.0 and hit 96% now. then added back to the timing to 19 kr free, i stopped tuning at that point because it was cold out still. always best to tune in the worst outside temps, so i didnt want any surprise KR later on if i set it back to 21 when cold out still.

Keep it if you can. No one will appreciate it the way you do.

i could keep it. but do i really need 3 cars? im the only driver. and a boosted SS would be a much cooler car.

camaro gets looks everywhere i go, even the cops like to stare at it, but thats got to be mostly the front plate not on it yet. you know how they love to nail ya for no front plate here. its a easy stop for them.

Finally keyless! Bought a set of fobs off of amazon yesterday. Prime got 'em to me today before work. Programmed 'em before I left. Wife is very happy!

Okay guys. Which one? These are plastic little bolt ons to the wheels. I was taking them off to try and get all this dirt and crap off of them from the previous owner figured I would see how the looked.

With... definitely with... and I agree the bolts should be black... but then again, I'm partial to that look ;)

Yeah I agree. I was calling a local dealer of the XD wheels to see if they had a black bolt and washer set I could just buy but the guy had a great idea. Said to call Fastenal that they had all the black boots and washers there. So I'll go by Monday and grab some. I don't think me painting them will stay very long so better off this way.

On another note anyone know a really good wheel cleaner safe for matte wheels? The guy before has let the brake dust kinda set in to the wheels no matter how hard a scrub them they always look dirty.

SamHarris..... Not bad...... :roflbow:

Infiniti 'QX50 'Premium Plus' package. It also has the Nissan 370 Z suspension!
( QX60 is just a Pathfinder w/ Infiniti badge)

( Your new shoes..... mine are the 'Yo-mama' H/T tires. It was a choice of Yokohama, Bridgestone or Michelin (too expensive in 17")

I know I am side-swiping the topic a bit..... But we compared value/prices for her compact/ mid-size choices.
..The QX70 is exactly the same car but a different body ( I preferred), but $14,000 more. Other cars like Cadillac XT5.... base model / 4 cyl./ cheap interior/ $40,000 / full optioned a whopping $66,000 !!

Infiniti QX50 Premium package $37,000 / Premium Plus "full optioned" package ( is what we got), only $2,000 more!! And it only comes with the high-torque 3.7 ltr. V6. A great deal!!

We considered the Mercedes GLC 300... Very nice, but I do not trust reliability after 3 years.

Yeah, the other luxury brands that are going sub-compact-SUV style, are ridiculous, and for no good reason! That’s insanity for the XT5!!! Who the hell would pay that?!?!

Rear window refused to roll up. Had to take apart the door and push it back up until an assembly gets here to replace. When going down I can hear it eating plastic. Sure enough there plastic on the bottom of the door. Guess the 15 year old motor got hungry.
