Got a hold of a stock jack, mounting bracket, chocks and handles. Thinking about mounting them under the hood on the pass side battery tray area.

Your NP8 tranfer case code means it's a NVG246. Takes AC Delco Auto-Trak II fluid, which is blue. Should be right around 2 quarts; mine took a little less but YMMV.

Thanks man. I'm sending her in Tuesday to get the rear main seal fixed. Mechanic said a couple days. So hopefully it will be quick and back on the road. Anything else I should get replaced while the trans is out?

Make sure the flex plate is in good condition with no hairline cracks.

Okay guys. Which one? These are plastic little bolt ons to the wheels. I was taking them off to try and get all this dirt and crap off of them from the previous owner figured I would see how the looked.

Think I'm in the same boat. Still leaking bad, looks like from up high and around both sides. Starter covered, cooler block off covered and everything downstream. Can't really see squat from the inspection cover nor those plastic covers. Let me know how much it runs you. I've replaced everything else I know of already.

got my SS stashed in the garage here at my apt building, only 2 issues. i got a sewer pipe over head and found out it leaks sometimes, lovely. splatter on my hood.

the bottom of the doors have no weather stripping, so when the landscrapers come blowing by the doors they blow dust and dirt in the garage and yup, all over my clean car....

so its inside, gets wet and dirty. not to happy about this at all so far.

but theres more lol i did a gen 5 blower and a north star tb with ls maf on my regal gs. tuning went well, car hauls ass. only i started to hear a clanging sound and i really thought i busted a rod till i un hooked the coils and heard the clang while cranking it. turns out i busted the flexplate. yea me i get to pull its engine out again... when you hear the sound go way i raised the throttle maybe 100 rpm what lead me to not think it was not a rod, and i have good oil pressure still. then heard it when cranking it over while under the tc,,i was like bingo!!! got ya!!!

ScottyDogs...... I had the same problem with gardeners blowing crap into a garage door. I weather stripped at the inside edge of door-frame opening & added a second ( or you replace).. rubber strip to the door bottom.

Before I did all that, I got a couple towels and folded / layed them at bottom door edge/ floor when closing.

i was taking a closer look at the bottom of the door one side is like 2 inches off the ground. towels sound like a good idea till either the super fixes it, or me doing it. only thing that sucks is these garages are either 2 cars or 3 cars with no walls in the middles. mine is a two car and the door to the right has the same issue, so i need to fix two doors.

i was thinking of just screwing some wood to the uneven sides of the doors then some cheap home depot weather stripping thats only 20 ish for a 20 foot roll. if it comes to it its not a huge expense to bare.

i did order a car cover because the sewer pipe made me think, maybe i should cover it cause that might leak, being the roof has stains and been patched up already.....im gonna staple some plastic under that pipe and lead it to the wall. who wants shit water leaking on their car, cover or not. this is going down before and after they fix that.

Started replacing the sway bar bushings up front with energy suspension. Got part of the way through and went inside to thaw out from being in the driveway.

Get a bike hook and 5 gallon bucket and a hose drilled into the bottom. Easy fix to move the water. I couldn't have sewer water dropping on that pretty car.

Haha yeah that was a month ago, but In MO that could mean anything from 70 to 25 and snowy. Unfortunately got option B that day. It’s been staying around 55 and rainy these days.
