Nope I gotta bring it back to the bodyshop in the next few weeks when they have time to paint it, they wouldn’t weld the holes up due to it being aluminum so had to have someone else weld it, came out pretty good I don’t see any warping

What's the procedure on the wiring for the shifter? I def want to do this.
You can just cut the plug off your old shifter, cut the one off the new shifter, and solder the old plug on the new shifter. The wire colors old and new are the same, then just tape off the 2 new wires you dont need. The + and - buttons will never get used, they have a specific resistance built in that’s only useful for the 6l80 trans. I’ve never heard of anyone being able to repurpose those buttons.

I cut mine out. Was cracked and had a small hole in the mesh, even one of the wings had a crack forming that I fixed. Has a tab broke off too, just playing with it to try and save it. But so much cutting and detail work to make it look good :buffer:

How hard is that stuff to cut? I’m thinking about trying to cut part of a grill mesh to fit the bumper grill on my CC.

Dremel tool is my best friend. Does take time though, doesnt cut like butter, but it does the job.
