I want to do this mod. My fogs even with overwattage nighthawks are not great.

Kept finding my coolant reservoir empty. Started noticing that there was more fluid under the truck after startup then I would expect from the a/c system. Finally came to the conclusion that the coolant reservoir cap must be bad even though it looked fine visually.

Replaced it and no more leaks.

I had almost the exact same problem, besides losing coolant, the system was pressurizing. Weird that it never over heated. I replaced my cap and it was all good.

Yeah same here. Never noticed it overheat, seemed to hold pressure. I think the pressure spike @ startup was causing it to blow past the seal or something.

Yea me too. Much cleaner oem look. Tired of the blue 6000k. Not that I hate it now, just time for a change

My Yukon (See avatar) had 6000k bulbs in it when I got it... couldn't hardly see with them at night. Looked really cool, but they're not very practical.

I just bought 2 of them off the fleece website for $20 each. Up to you and if you like a chip better. It's definitely a cleaner install

Keep in mind it only works when the high beams are on. If you want full time fogs or DRL you need to do the mods and if you have the module you can't do that.

I did more research and found the part numbers to the diodes. For less than 3 bucks I'll try it lol.

Love mine! Living out in the country it really helps light up those dark back roads

I do as well. Had the 6 hi mod plus a light bar so I had no issues at night. So that's what I'm used to lol
