They Yukon got us to MI and back to MD safely over the new Years weekend. I love this truck!!!! It Never hesitated or slowly cranked in the -10 degree weather. But now after a ****** car wash it threw some codes P0171, P0174 with slight hesitation at WOT and slight rough idle.

I probably would have chosen to drive the DEUCE 1/2 with the weather being so crazy up there. Do you have it street legal??

It's supposed to be "wintery weather" down here in Dallas this week and trust me, the way these idiots drive, you realistically need a steel body -on- steel frame military truck with 6-wheel drive if you want to get from point-A to point-B. I swear, this (1) 15-mile stretch of highway between my home & office may see 1/2 dozen accidents per day in clear, sunny weather, Nevermind the rain or snow. It's shocking & appalling the reckless disregard for human life & the general public/motorists. i wish the law enforcement would find a way to capture these people & put them in prison. It's so bad that I have my wife call me everyday when she gets to work in the AM and before she heads for home in the evening, traffic updates if applicable. I was stopped in traffic 1-day when the motorist right beside me was rear-ended so hard it looked like the car came up off of the ground. It happened so fast but my eyes still tell me that all 4 tires left the ground. It wasn't just the suspension that allowed the travel.

Removed rear bleeders that were rusted in place with a freeze spray lube.

Speed bleeders that i bought to replace them didnt have the same thread? Can anyone confirm the correct bleeders? Im running the stockers still and one is pretty rounded off.

Bled brake fluid and replaced with bosch el6 fluid. Fresh coat of caliper paint and installed stainless rear lines.

Ignore my rusty rotors ill replace those when i get around to my nnbs front upgrade.

I had a similar problem with my tahoe I bought the "right" banjo bolts. I ended up taking the stock one and comparing it to tothers by thread pitch and length

Traded her back after a week apart. Give up the Silverado back to my dad, reassuring me that the single cab life is NOT for me like it was before.
Fun fact- 05single stems from owning a 05 silverado single cab and 05single was my user name on the sister site.
(And before that a single cab lighting and a single cab Dakota)

Had a celebratory pizza for getting ol girl back.......yea yea I guess I missed her

Got a little break in the weather and changed the oil and filter. Bought some regular Pennzoil 10w30 to run for a bit and in the spring.I'll change to synthetic. Also, ordered a new 8" subwoofer for the back and new 6.5 speakers for the front doors.
