The door panels have leather trim panels. The seats are different. The head rest are totally different. It also had a TV and antenna for local channels. All that was stripped when stolen. I'm going back with a factory console and no TV. Oh it also has what looks like house carpet.

I can get some today when I get home. The current pics I have do not show much and the interior was trashed. I have since vacuumed and hosed off the Weather Techs.

I'm probably going to start a build thread this weekend. I should have most of the parts by Friday. I ordered Denali window switches and they aren't shipping out until Friday. I bought them Monday and won't ship until Friday. I'm kinda frustrated with that!

Got a USB/aux input, finally installed it in that little button/pocket area. The radio only came with a USB wire, but I like having the aux, too. Decided this was a good place to put it and drilled it out with a hole saw.

Just out of curiosity, how often and when do you use the CB? Is cell phone reception that bad in your area? I remember using them back in the 90s in high school because cell phone minutes were like $7 and it was the cool thing to have, but I just feel like CBs are damn near obsolete these days, am I wrong?

Yeah I just cut off About a .25" around the sub
When you guys did you sub install did you have issues with the box and quarter panel pinging when the sub hit? I had to put sound deadener on the outside and inside of the box and also all over the quarter.

Honestly, not much as of yet. I still need to get the antenna tuned to get a clearer signal and I still have a few kinks to work out. I intend on eventually using the truck for overlanding and the CB will help a lot when I'm out in the boondocks. But I also just dig how it looks, I know it's not the best reason but whatever, I like it and I like listening to the trucker chatter every once in a while

My grandfather was a world famous **** hunter and **** dog trainer, he and my grandmother used a CB for years to keep in touch while he was out all night hunting with several people that came in from all over the world. CB brings back memories, grandma still has one in her mint condition 80's S-10 blazer.

Ask and you shall receive....

I also took some better pics of each side before and after the door handles and removing the pen stripe.

I got mine mainly for road issues. Traffic, speed traps, etc. It should also be a good backup when I'm in the mountains. Sometimes cell service can be spotty. Fairly inexpensive setup.

Pretty sharp. Even the rims are a little different.
Mounted my CB antenna. Got a rain cap for when it's not in use.

How do you tune the cb antenna? When I was a kid my father had cb's in all of his vehicles, and a large home base. I'm in nj and he used to talk to family in Puerto Rico from the home base.

The CB shop has a meter that they hook up to get the lowest standing wave ratio based on your antenna, where its mounted, etc...the guy told me they'll end up cutting my antenna down about 6" to get the best signal...I'll be honest, I have no idea HOW it all works.

Seems so complicated. I thought it acted the same as a radio antenna. The longer, the better the reception.

For the most part, thats true, but I guess there is some fine tuning. I leave it up to the pros.
