This happened the other night. Got sideswiped by a guy in a white 4runner. So I added some previous front damage I had from road debris on the frwy.

I finally got around to dipping my HD grille, Z-71 valance, and front & rear bumpers. Upgraded to the LED parking lights and installed the black billet grille overlay and black bowtie. I just need to put the LED fogs back in the valance.

Dumb question on my part but when you say you dipped the bumpers and stuff are you referring to the plastic dip spray or a different method?

I'm super pissed! Gf came with the hoe, work van broke down, alt went, I was leaning down as the hoe was running, charging my van battery , to zip tie some spark plug wires off the headers. I didn't realize I was leaning on the heater hose coming off the firewall. Yup! I broke one off! Got sprayed with hot coolant! So now we have two vehicles down, waiting for AAA tow for both. Now I need an alt for the work van and that heater hose deal for the hoe, along with coolant. Oh.... I bypassed the hose, but I guess too much coolant escaped and it overheated to 260, because she needed gas to continue helping me jump start my van. I'm ready to kill someone!!!

Does anyone know how that quick disconnect comes off? The broken end.

Those things get super brittle. You need a tool like for disconnecting fuel lines. Sometimes its those white plastic disks. Somebody help me out here.

That really sucks brother sorry to hear that...you have a nice 1st degree burn there, cover the burns with a dry sterile dressing, secure it tightly to the injury and hit the ER... preventing the introduction of bacteria into the body is essential with that type of burn

Got some more parts in for my supercharger install. Valley cover gasket, knock sensor harness, oil pressure sending unit. And put in an EBay bid for an AEM Failsafe AFR/boost gauge.

Thx for the advice, I forgot you were a fireman. It really blistered later on, big time. I got no time for the ER! Lol. Went to the dealer and bought the replacement piece for under $20 with my discount. I tried squeezing those tabs, but it just didn't work, so I slowly cut the plastic away with a wire snipper. I mixed dex cool and green antifreeze together, so now I have to get it flushed and get back to dex. I fixed it in the dark, and I'm so glad it's done. Today was a HUGE clusterf**k for me. The fun doesn't end until I do my alternator in my work van, since I am mobile (I work out of my van) No van, no money.

Damn that's real unfortunate brother. But hey, at least now you know how to replace that hose! Every time something bad happens, you can use it as a learning opportunity!View attachment 76355
Ain't that the truth. Hopefully I'll never have to replace that one again. But I gotta say, I'm all learned out! Lol
Now I gotta do my alt in the snow tomorrow.

Oh man o_O It'll go faster if you can have someone help you with the tensioner, need at least three hands to change stuff on these engines easily lol.
I have to change the one on my express work van. I changed it on the Hoe a few months ago, wasn't bad at all. I upgraded to a 160 amp too.
