I never knew that. I know Austin is big into live music. Going to SXSW has been on my bucket list for years now.

@05Single I wasn't aware of that. I was always under the impression the reason the drls burned out so quickly was because they were subject to really high voltage spikes up to 15V and that's what caused them to go out.

Yea sorry typo, I meant 4114 like 95escahoe said not 7114 lol. look in your owners manual and it will list the same. it is because of the high voltage. it's like having your brake light on constantly and it's not designed for that so it burns out fast. the 4114 is designed to be only lit up from the higher voltage, notice how your drl is brighter than your parking lights but the turn signal when flashing is the same brightness.

I think you can reverse the wires on the bulb to trick it to use 3157s , but I've never tried.

What size is everything? I'm curious to know how loud the BFG s are, cause I always liked them.

It's been a while since I've posted. Esky is doing great, only put 6500 miles in 13 months. Last week I had new Denso iridium plugs AC delco wires and replaced the clock spring. Stock plugs didn't look to bad after 110k miles. Over the summer I added airaid Jr, aem drop in filter, remote start and tinted the driver/passenger windows. This winter will be exhaust and maybe headers.

Looks super clean but you can't tell me it looks like that in North Carolina right now? That looks like a summertime shot!

That's the perfect living room recliner! Just plop that puppy in front of the tv and you're set!.
On another note-finally picked up an hd Hood. Decent price too. Also got the underhood light with it. View attachment 71077

FTW!!!

You have any room left under that tree this year? Exhaust, hood, motor, brakes...getting the overhaul, etc.... Sweet score man!!

Can't wait to get it all together! Under my tree-and garage-is jam packed! Just ordered intake gaskets, and 2 knock sensors. Hopefully I'll be able to use the stock injectors. Still need to get both front axles, water pump, electric fans, volant cold air kit, trans shift kit and some other doodads.

That is a serious supply of parts. Going to be looking good when it all comes together. Can't wait for them pics to surface. I think it's time that you put together a build thread, just like we pushed @Red Rocket to do. You have too much going on not to document for yourself and others to benefit from write ups and pictures. Do et!! @Tonyrodz
