Yeah was driving me crazy not seeing the buttons. I ended up with 3 fobs so I still have one good one left. The little things...

Agreed and after I swapped my entire engine myself, this seems so much more simple although everything you remove from the top of the engine is the same for either lolMuch rather do one of these than any of the older votec engines.

Minus the distributor, and annoying threaded fuel line that's conveniently tucked back behind the drivers head on the 5.7. I like everything about working on the LS based engines. Stupid simple over older generations. Same here. $300 (3hrs labor) and I didn't have to sit on top of my radiator support and other places to do it for hours. Mechanic cleaned my entire engine too. I always thought the block and heads were black! LolPaid a garage to do mine back in 2013. Cost around $300. Worth it imo!

Did you have to put an amp in ? I just unplugged my factory sub because the slap when any kinda bass went thru was so irritatingInstalled a Kicker 40CWS82 Sub to replace blown stock one. Painless install and sounds good for the money.![]()

@Fosscore , ordered a new key fob for my denali last week cuz I only have one. Somehow it got delivered to Scottsdale Arizona today. And I'm in socal.Your pic on your find made me think of that.
Fuuuuuck. My tube of gray RTV sealant is frikkin dried up. Can I use the blue one? I have an unopened tube of blue RTV silicone.
