It drives OK. Still on the 4.8 tune, so same old same. I remembered what you said about driving it and not beating on it, so I was easy on it. Little loud because the exhaust isn't completely hooked up. Idling tho.... Man! Sounds like a BEAST! He said I should get it back at the end of the week. I told him, and I hope he remembers, to take plenty of pics because I'm on a forum, and we're all picture ******!! Lol. If I remember correctly, doing a trans cooler, pushrods, cam, timing chain, oil pump and finishing up the exhaust--welding the cat, muffler and getting the prop shaft back in there.

I had all my Christmas stuff done so I did the LED strip lights under the doors mod. Really lights up the ground when a door is opened.

That really looks good. Where did you get the strips from? I might have to do this mod. Did you do a write up?

I got the strips off EBay and did just a short write-up here in my build thread. A few pages later I show the under hood lighting I did with the same strips.

Hmmm.... I think with everything said and done, somewhere around $7,000. That's motor, cam, converter and all the little incidentals.
