What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Picked it up from the painter after the cowl hood and some other paint work done, now I have to install the CM Esky rack.

Came out great! I'm not into the big rim look, but you rock it! !

Did some more prep work to my HD hood. Hope to paint and install it by the weekend.

Off topics anyone know how much are Esky roof racks going for? I have an extra one I'd like to get rid of.

Replaced the air mix door actuator today. After a whole summer of random a/c to heat on driver side. Paid $230 for a acdelco actuator after trying the Napa (Dorman) and it failed after calibration. The heat wouldn't switch all the way open when commanded.

Air door #1. Mine has the automatic climate control. The part is cheaper elsewhere but since I ordered through work and got it from our local dealer for $190 + 20% markup with my "employee discount". The part is $127 on rock auto.

I've never noticed the indents on each side of the HD Hood before, or whatever they're called. That's on all of them?

I didn't notice them at first either but yes it is on all the ones I've seen. Including the hood on my 05 Tahoe.

Removed brakes, calipper, pads and discs but find nothing wrong there...

I don't think he was referring to the hood being raised. The groove on either side of the hood is what I'm sure he was talking about.
