Ordered up hp tuners pro. Getting things ready for the turbo. Want to learn as much as I can about tuning.

Still looks good. Take it off and see how much you miss it even though it's black..haha. Super nice front end.
Oh sure! I don't know if you realize how much I had to go through to get that little jewel! It was one of Eugene's last ones, and after it was shipped from Australia it was originally PC'd black and my front was chrome at the time so I had it PC'd in a bright silver chrome effect. Then I went to the dark side so I had to sand it and paint it black again. We've been through a lot together....I would definitely miss my little Denali Down Under grill.
Edit: I just realized you have a Denali in this month's TOTM with a DDU grill on it, but thought you have the 06 Tahoe you have a build thread on- do you have 2 NBS trucks?

@Red Rocket

I have watched your front end woes and know how valuable the DDU grill is and the rarity since they are not made any more.

Wish I had bought OHSIXX's Denali. :( That would have been a sweet pair of 06 NBS rides sitting in my driveway and my wife would have done back flips getting that badass black Denali. hahaha Not to be unfortunately. I would have flown up there and driven it home, but he traded it too quick to get his new Grand Cherokee. ugggh Dammit!! He turned over all his mods super quick including his DDU to hec.deli who scored that for his Denali.

Funny you just caught that for this month's TOTM. I originally put him forward for the ballot and somehow when the 2nd's came thru, my name was put on his truck. Still rolling the 06 Tahoe. She's looking and running tops. Finished a full paint detail this weekend - clay bar, polish with 3M Ultrafine Polish, Surf City Garage Nano Seal and Surf City Nano Glaze. Slick as anything and popping in the sunshine.

Might be time for you to finish your front end with ahem cough cough ...even darker side...the HD hood....
:) :waytogo:

Yes the H-D hood is on my radar as well as shaving the rear wiper. Of course I'd also like to install a supercharger and cam after doing a tranny retrofit and front differential upgrade but then sanity gets ahold again! LOL! Of course if that HD hood was a bolt on upgrade for my Denali it would be done by now but having to get it cut and modified makes it a bit harder.

I tell ya I can't find a used hd hood around my parts

from my Galaxy S7 Edge
I' was looking for a new OEM one and found out they're discontinued so it looks like I might have to get an aftermarket since I can't find a used one within 500 miles of me either.

That HD hood is like a unicorn. Too far away and then you have the Denali non-bolt on issue that makes it that much more difficult and sweet. I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't pull an HD out of your massive mods list and lay down the GMC mod gauntlet. I think you are leading the daily NBS mods list lately. @Red Rocket Rocket

Opened a small package from China..... had my 80W 27 LED 9006 and 9005 headlight bulbs. Changing the highs and lows out, along with the 3057 and 1157 brake lights, turn signals, and backup lights.
Now to just find time to wire up the 36W 12 LED spot lights as fogs!

Make sure to take before and after night photos. We've had problems with LED headlights at the shop. They look bright, but don't project down the road nearly as far as regular halogens, much less than HIDs.

Installed a new set of Michelin Defender LTX MS tires today in 275/55R20.
$100.00 rebate at Discount Tire during their Memorial Day Weekend Sale.
Rides noticeably quieter and smoother than my BFG's...
