Well, I finally got the energy to change the trans filter and oil on my 2dr Hoe. Noticed a leak when I first bought it but I've just been putting it off. A little work to remove the crossmember that covers the rear bolts of the pan. Dropped the pan and the filter and gasket was stuck on the pan. Cleaned tha pan gasket off as much as I could. That gasket was baked on there good. Put everything back together and filled it back up. Let it run for a while, didn't notice anymore leaks. Haven't run it yet so I don't know for sure it the leak was fixed. But I have a new filter and gasket in there. Oil in ther looks dirty but I'm not going to do a full flush on it yet. I'll gradually do it and not run the risk of failing the tranny. The magnet in there had quite a bit of excess material stuck to it. Don't know when the PO had it serviced.

What brand pump did you go with? Any belt alignment issues with the supplied pully on the new pump?

Knock on my wooden head there's no leaking w/mine now.... but its good to know for reference.

I bought the pump from Autozone and i think its a Duralast. No i did not have any issues with alignment of the pullies. We used the stock PS Pully and the Idler pully aligned just fine.

I should have done a detailed how to on this. I found some how to's online and i followed them exactly and it was super difficult to reach some of the bolts holding it on (especially with the skid plates in the way). I found another way to removed the pump and it was so much easier.

Did this over the weekend. I like it, came out real nice. Painted the orange sections candy red

What product did you use to paint it red?
Is the light still amber or does it comes out as red as the brakes?

I was wondering about the use of the bug/stone deflector. Do you find it very useful ?

What's your model?
I do have the same dashboard and the same roof climate control, but I do not have the sound system on the back of the central console.
Have you added it later?

Yep, satin. It was bondo satin black trim restorer. I used it because I figured it would stick to the plastic well. It was getting dark as I was finishing up so with the daylight will come the true results. It looks good right now though.

i used krylon fusion on mine, seems to be holding up so far. the front valences look much better satin black. idk why they come gray when all the other non painted plastic trim on the truck is satin black

I agree 100%! If this stuff doesn't work, I will get the krylon.

Got a sound clip??

Sorry, no Sound Clip. BUT, ....... sounds really nice. Not to loud at all, just right.

The Muffler Shop suggested the MAGNAFLOW, but also let me hear the FLOWMASTER. The FLOWMASTER was considerably louder then the MAGNAFLOW.

So, I therefore chose the MAGNAFLOW based on the Muffler Tech's recommendation as well as hearing the FLOWMASTER. I also still want to be able to talk to the family while driving and I do not wish to wake up the whole neighborhood either. ;) AND, the MAGNAFLOW was also 20 bucks cheaper.

I am very happy with the results and I think the Chrome Tip just looks awesome.

My sway bar is an eibach, significantly bigger than stock and made a big difference in handling on this big *****. I used to have autoride on my truck as well, been about 1 year since I pitched everything.
How did you preceed to remove the autoride stuff?
Is your 'hoe handling better?
Would I feel a difference by just removing the Autoride system?

Doing front ceramic pads and rotors, as the previous owner did pads with rusty ridge rotors :( he did the same with the rears.....For $18 a rotor new not worth cutting the old crusty ones...
After that I will swap out the fuel pressure regulator as I pulled my vacuum hose and it had a steady stream of fuel leak from it.lol Guess its bad!
If I still have daylight will replace the fuel filter then cabin filters.........Getting ready for winter is a pain.lol
