Yup beltech. I hate them as well. Maybe this summer I will swap to bilsteins.

Curious why you both are not liking the Belltech shocks.
Am I missing something as I am running them too?
And can’t recall which Bilsteins. The 5100 or 4600s?
On the OBS I had 2” shackles out back and keys up front, I had a similar rake as the Escalade, and got the Belltech shocks front and rear to match the drop the front suspension was brand new too and it always road kinda rough, the Escalade doesn’t ride anywhere near as bad as that did it’s very smooth, and the Bilstein are the 4600’s

Hmm interesting. Hard to tell on my end. I feel the bumps from the 24s, but not sure it rides “rough”.
I had a coworker in the Tahoe this morning who hadn’t ridden in a long time. She said it felt smooth.
Granted she comes from a twin turbo WRX that bounces all over the place.
Anything else you can add on this as I appreciate the input.
And the OBS had 20’s too btw, on non shot roads it didn’t ride bad, it was the rough roads that it road kinda rough, hit some of those last night in the Escalade and you felt them but wasn’t a rough ride at all

Maybe some of that is leafs vs coil spring rear, but yeah those belltechs are shorter body twin tube shocks. I'd go with full length monotube bilsteins and drop brackets if possible. Of course on lower setups thats not really an option.
Maybe, but it was more so in the front end you’d feel not so much the back, but that could definitely come into play, I might have to do a shorter shock up front if I blow these out, if I drive easy I should be good

I wondered if we were actually comparing apples to apples between the models lowered, type of lowering components, inches of drop, etc...
But wasn’t sure. I don’t have anything to compare and the NNBS has 20s and rides like a land yacht.
I am on NorcalSS 3/5-6 with front control arms, rear springs and drop shackles, free travel mod and 60742 bags with maybe 5 psi.
Rides pretty good IMO. But again no side by side comparison to gauge the differential.
Interesting discussion though.
What brand bags are those?

Loss of power, cats become hotter, cel thrown because 02 sensors readings are off...... and of course they can’t get to the litter box on time...My reasoning is handling. I feel these shocks have a lot of "give" and I'm thinking I need a shock that's a little stiffer maybe? I feel a lot of up and down motion while driving and cornering and well as a lot of body roll. Maybe sways will help with that but I feel better shocks would control a lot of that as well.
Side note. I'm running the 2-3/4 kit with the spacers i the rear, so the 2-3 kit and i noticed that the rear bump stops i got with my kit are completely gone. Worn out to reveal just the nut and bolt that I used to attach the bump stop the the axle... I dont bottom out unless I hit some serious dips and I did the free travel mod. Anyone else experiencing this?
Also what are some signs of clogged or bad cats?

Hmmm. The truck feels a little sluggish but not terribly bad. I did just get a CEL but it went away on it's own. I might still get a scanner to see if anything remains.
Reason I ask is on start up there is a metallic clanging sound that I hear through the exhaust but goes away quickly
