What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Turned my white Yukon blue; gave it a good bath today as the salt on the roads around here was nuts.

Thanks yea I have removed the engine cover many times lol.

I didnt think of the plastidip idea but I'll probably strip and paint the reflector and get the Profile Hi-Lens for the high beam spot with a shroud

You think those profiles are gonna fit ? Would be awesome of they do

Yea I dont think they are that big and the high beam reflector is a decent size I think the profile hi lens would fit with a shroud

Delco oil pressure sending unit came in -- need to install over the weekend and hope that fixes my oil leak.

Some Zaino (yes, i'm old school) stuff for the leather came in too. Love the way that stuff smells!

Haven't been around here in a while, recent "mods" include HD hood, color matched grille, z71 roof rack.

Z71 valance, HD grille and bumper may be next.

Have seen $20-$30 range all brands. Strong Arm seems to be popular.

Not too strong as I saw some reviewers were moaning they were too tight and sprung the glass up.

I’m guessing being new vs. when they don’t work properly was throwing them off. Literally. Lol

Was at the salvage yard looking at parts and remembered my struts were out so I just grabbed some used ones ,for $5 a pop ,till I found quality new ones online. Put the used ones in from the salvage yard and they lifted like brand new. Still holding strong, that was 2 years ago. Idk maybe I got lucky.

I looked the other day. Found a out that were tight. Looked up the model number and they said they were for a Toyota Sienna.

I passed as I could not confirm their actual fitment although they held that lift glass up very well.

Then I inspected closer and found some rust so it made me feel better to pass.

Might just suck up be full cost and get some new ones and be done with it. The squeaky glass is driving me nuts!

I used the stock sizes. The liftgate is OK. It does go all the way up on its own. Could maybe be a touch stronger, but they're fine. The glass ones are more than strong enough.

Finally put together a video explaining how we installed the custom "pocket style" flares.

Awesome job on the flares. So the front fit and the rear fit except for the doors.
Question, so I would not need to alter them for my Yukon XL?
You only had to alter them for the rear door?

Got the spindles on last night. Turns out my I need all ball joints replaced. I’ll do those and toe rod ends before alignment. Set the toe to get me by for now. Track width is wider up front so I’ll have to get spacers for the rear also. Very happy with it over all
