Oil pan gasketOk guys looking to have to buy some parts. My mechanic did the inspection and says my rear main seal is pretty bad. So I'm looking into replacing that. What other things should I do proactively while this is being done?
2004 Z71 Suburban Green I have a few upgrades done.
Emptied my catch can today. I haven't touched it for over 6,000 miles--2 oil changes--and I got maybe 1-2 ozs out of it. Before the whole catch can controversy I would've thought that was good. Not so sure now.View attachment 210674 View attachment 210675 View attachment 210676
For all you chefs out there--got you a quick recipe. @Galante it's right up your alley Paison.View attachment 210677
VLED makes some plug n play led bulbs that have the option to use their resistor module. Requires 0 cutting or splicing of wires
I tried led bulbs in my rear brake light housings and you could barely see them. I have these in there and they're ok.View attachment 210672 View attachment 210673
Thanks erbear28, I will look them up. A link would be appreciated.
Thanks, Do you need resisters also to use them Tonyrodz?
These are my tail lights. They are slightly tinted which is one of the reasons the lights are dim.

When I had a catch can on my 6.0, I barely got any at all. Maybe it's the valley cover or the valve covers on the 6.0's that keep the blow-by down. I have since replaced my DS valve cover with the newest design that's supposed to help even more. I didn't want a catch can with my blower.Emptied my catch can today. I don't know. I do have an 05 6.0 in there tho. I also swapped the older design ds valve cover onto it--with the replaceable pcv in it.Do you have the LS6 engine valley cover or the factory one?
No resistors needed. Thanks erbear28, I will look them up. A link would be appreciated.

Ok guys so I have a question. I have a 2004 Z71 suburban. I got a check tire sensor light in the DIC. I put my new tires on 6 months ago and the tire pressures and everything worked and I got my tire pressures on the display. Now since this check tire pressure monitor thing has come on now I cannot find the tire pressures at all on the display. Had the oil changed and an inspection yesterday. Asked them to check to tire sensors and he went around the truck and all of them beeped and the flashing light has never come on they this problem. But man I miss being able to see my tire pressures inside the truck. Any help? I've looked in the forum but found nothing.
