Yeah, it happened when the trans line let go and sprayed hot trans fluid all over the place. Lucky me.
I hate it when that happens.

Yum!!
Not doing rear bumper?
Dunno how to feel about that first response lol!

Nah, we're tracking down a Denali bumper cover. Body guy has a friend with one. I'm in no rush. This paint job is going to pop either way. I really am considering bronze/copper powdercoat on anything thats currently chrome

Fresh paint is always yummy . Bronze or copper and green is a great combo. More yum factor

what year is yours? thats about what a low mile yukon /tahoe loaded would go for easy. if in damn good shape inside and out.

i was also only looking at 04/05 trucks. talk about being a picky sob lol

i got a guy in my building here with a denali, this guy must have a monthly car wash pass, he keeps it spotless year round. ive also touched it walking by, the paint is as smooth as if it had just been polished.

30 years ago id have stolen his bumper covers already, its a color match lol

note that oil leak tho, rear main leak hell. in sure hes gotten a quote for that job already and figured oil is cheaper lol

Mines an 05 and it's in good condition

The driver seat is starting to separate on the outside panel but my duty belt ripped the back side part ugh...

No leaks tho it does have some clear coat missing on the hood and roof I think I am going to try some satin black vivid vinyl wrap on the hood

danm that looks good. cant wait to see it cleared and finished up.

i had two new green trucks, one woodland green, kinda a flat green, but the 03 had polo metallic green. much brighter looking.

greens one of them colors you dont do unless you really like it......i liked it two times, now a third...

i did see one green tahoe when i was looking for mine, but it was way to beat up and high miles. that was a just a click next deal lol

and i didnt need to wait even 5 minutes to see it lol

holy crap, that paints trying to jump off the truck lol

gonna look killer in the sun.
Well, I am not a fan of green but i do like this polo green. Started seeing what I could do with it, didn't want to do jambs, and settled on this. I like when they look subtle in the shade and dance in the sun. For $1200 it looks like a $3k paint job, jambs would have been another $600 but for a 17 year old truck I thought that was overkill.

as long as the jambs are green, even the old green, id give it a pass too. anyone looking at it will be blinded by the body too much to even notice.

everyone should be able to get a paint job like that for 1200 bucks. just think how happy everyone would be, world wide peace might even happen lol

Lol! The world would be a better place.

Yeah it was shot with the oem color first so it matches. Now I can't decide if I want to lift it on 35s and 24s or lower it a lil more

The harsh reality is that I'm probably buying another car...like that's a bad thing! Lol I have my eye on a 2005 Lexus LS430, if TYF folks think Chevy's are tanks those damn LS430s are flat out amazing vehicles.
