Looks great Vinvin! I have a Suburban all black like yours and I have the vinyl wrap but don't think I can do it right. Did you use matt or glossy and how many pieces did you do it in around your windows? How did you measure and cut it to fit, sorry for all the questions I'm just trying to talk myself into, doing it myself but I think I'll sure it up! Are you talking about MVI for your HMI for video in motion? I actually installed that by myself in my vehicle and was surprised I actually did it and it's great to have and works great!

Changed the transmission fluid/filter and added a transmission drain plug. The most difficult part was draining the fluid without a drain plug.

I was going to post a pic, but need to figure out how to do it.

I used satin 3m 1080 black. The rear windows was 3 pieces, the front windows was 2. I did one and a boomerang piece. Just gave myself 2" of excess and cut maybe 2cm excess and shrunk it and pushed/squeege into the crevices. Go slow. It's better to have excess then to come up short and have chrome exposed. GO SLOW! First window took me maybe 30min? After I got the hang of it it was quick.

Just did the eyebrows and it's probably the easiest piece to wrap. The grill was a b! We spent 2 hrs and got halfway done only to realize a friend had accidentally poked a hole in an area that wasn't salvagable. So we scrapped it all together. I'd def take off the emblems off if you can. And wrap it off the grill. Otherwise it just because a bigger pita. I'm thinking about just plasti dipping the grill now. It'd be so much easier, along with plasti dipping the emblems and the lug nuts.

I have an audio shop down the road from work and it was a $50 job for him. But he managed to install it incorrect so back it goes. If I had time I could do it, but there's only so much I can do with my one day off the entire week. I'll post up post once it's done.

Painted grill and headlight eyebrows looks great. The painted lip seems a bit out of place and a bit too much white going on.

Curious as what they charged to paint your front grill?

What all did you have painted, just the front area and below the grill. The one body shop I went to wouldn't paint my grill so I'll have to check some others

All the chome on the grille got painted and the chome above the headlights. I also bought a new lip so they painted and installed that. Some shops won't do it because it's a lot of prep work for them to paint the chome. But if you find a good body shop they won't have any problem doing it.

I'm still in the early stages on my 2017, tinted front windows & debadged it. 3/6 lowering will be next & then the Eibach bars when they get here. I'll be sure to post before/after pics when it's done.

Had time yesterday to wrap my trim and install the vanquish fogs. Now I need to find time to install the ddm low beams, mvi module and finish wrapping the front. Car needs a wash too. We need more time in the day!!!

great work. Did you wrap the trim yourself? How smooth was it? If you did, have you done this before or was this a first? I would love to wrap my chrome around the windows and would love to take the challenge on myself if it was easy enough. i guess I could peal and have it done for me if I screwed it up.

Also, do you plan to wrap the grill?

You can wrap it yourself if you have the patience. Not necessary a difficult job but definitely takes some patience. I previously did the plasti-dip on my chrome window trim and have now begun the work to replace it with a vinyl wrap. The hardest part for me is getting the free time to actually do it with two little ones at home.
