Work has been insane the last month. Finally had a chance to hand wash the Tahoe today. Every jam, every corner, power washed the undercarriage and the under the hood. No time to detail, but a good start for spring cleaning. Hope everyone is safe!

Have you had any issues with this new body style yet? My 07 is always acting up considering a Sierra 2016 or a newer Tahoe.

my personal experience, bought my 16 used with 22k miles on it in July of 2018. Brought it home, changed all the fluids myself, and it’s been a workhorse since. 46k miles now, never had any issues. Annoyances? some. Rear seat noise off and on, the idiotic AFM system (which I’m overriding with a Range device to keep it in V8 mode at all times), but those are nothing compared to it being a great tow/grocery/work vehicle every day. I’d get another one in a heartbeat.

This range device. I’ve been hearing about these. My current 07 has AFM and I’m starting to think it’s the root of my P0304 misfire. We’re you experiencing a miss fire before overriding?

Not at all. Just had an AFM lifter issue on my 16 vette. My 19 vette and 16 Tahoe have the AFM disabler device. Not taking any chances. In all fairness, GM’s AFM problems have gotten far better these days, but that curse still haunts owners from time to time

I personally would not use the Range device. For $190 you are getting only 1 function

I bought an Edge Evolution off the Facebook marketplace for $200. Paid $40 for Edge to unlock the PCM for my 2017 'Burb. Been driving almost 10,000 miles now on Level 3 tuning. So much better. Like whole different vehicle.

and I turned off the AFM. I get better MPG with that crap turned off. Did a 500 mile drive with AFM on. Then return trip with AFM off. Got almost 2 mpg better for the trip. Chevy needs to stop using AFM

I finally got home and was able to install my parts, Volant CAI, Corsa Sport Catback Exhaust, Lowered 2” in the rear, Dub skillz S123 22”x10’s.

full LED lights, high/low/fogs, turn signals, reverse lights and even installed Red LEDS in the stop/turn for the rear.

everything works excellent and installed smoothly. Have the BBP autocal I’ll be installing in the next few weeks to help Performance and hopefully unlock the E85 capability now that I Installed the ethanol sensor.

Would you mind sharing the part number for your 2" rear drop?
I got some lowering spring a while back from tony norcall SS but they were 4" and the rear was lower than the front.
I too have a suburban and the longer rear cargo/body shape, I really believe 2" is the max perfect drop.
Also, any complaints regarding opening the rear hatch not being high enough?
me at 5'11, with the rear 4" I was constantly hitting my head :)

i left my stock endlink, my drop was only like 2.25" in rear
i hit my head w/ that on cargo door... so doing the remaining 1.75-2" drop would really just suck for me, lol

did you also leave out the 1" spacer to get to 4" lower?
