I decided I'd had enough of Lock-Down so I got in the Hoe and went for a ride a lonnngggg ride . My Old Man took us kids to a Ghost Town called Como in 72' . We live below that mountain and I have always wanted to "TRY" the back way in . Great drive , saw an Antelope , but not much else (It's Butt , and the flames off it's jet pack as it flew towards the mountains . Some of you may have seen those Oddities in motion , and they can MOVE ! So , I'm into the back country maybe 30 miles at around 5500 ft ele. (still in the foothills) and the wind is Arctic like and blowing 25-30 mph. . it's been rocks and ROCKS and sand and water crossings , gimme some more please ! It was one rough SOB !!!! I'm BOUNCING and BUCKING and standing on the brakes to kill the bounce , and things started to not be right ,, the BOUNCE , The BUCK , the steering and the BRAKES pretty much took a MAJOR DUMP ! It's night out , I'm on dirt roads I know nothing about , and BANG off comes the rear view mirror the Brakes GO TO THE FLOOR ! I could pump them up but while I'm doing that ,,, the engine starts running ROUGH ! My GPS on my cell phone poops as well . When I stop I have to keep revving the engine or it'll die . I got the Hoe back home about 10:45 pm. and it dies and coasts in to the garage .
I took a light out cranked the wheels , both front shocks are broke , r/s ft. sway bar end link is gone , all of the steering boots are leaking . So I guess that explains the steering . I check the brakes and ummm , d/s rear caliper is blown . The worst part is I ordered springs on the rear and they're on the way . I still don't know about the fuel problem . I guess it's time to buy an OBDII Diagnostic tool .
I can't handle these half-tons , maybe they can't handle Me and Nevada combined . So either a K2500 or a different brand .
