What should I go with? Found some white headlights on ebay for 10$ but what else is there? I believe I have seen blue ones before.

Thanks for the link. Nice looking lights. How do I know what kind of headlights I need? The ones I looked up at wal mart last night were 38$ for the white lights.

Spend 80 bones n get an hid conversion kit...comes with a ballast for each bulb. 5k is whit, 6k is BRIGHT WHITE. And 8k would give u a blue hue in ur lights

i dont like those aftermarket Bulbs. Ive seen a lot of them that use Higher wattage and end up melting Harnesses. Go with a legit Hid conversion kit. The light output is like 10 fold over those Ebay bulbs.

What yall think of those? That is what I am looking to get more than likely.Just want some opinions before I buy them. Also just wanted to add. The reason I am getting new ones is because I have bad eyes and can't see real well at night even with my glasses on so wanting something much brighter for my truck. Will those do the job?

id stay away from the high beam bulbs. 100 watts is kinda high and could melt your harness.

+1 you really should listen to what theyre saying... for 40 bucks your truck will be bright like the sun coming down the road... or you can waste 10 on some cheap bulbs that will burn out in a month and then buy the hids

I recently bought some 6k hids from hidxenonheadlights.com for 80 bucks. Then u guys pointed out those ddms for 35. So I am going to return mine, since they only have a one year warranty. These DDMs are supposed to have a lifetime guarantee. So I hope the swap will be worth it...but one question. 55w or 3tw on a 98 tahoe? I heard light output my be different depending on the bulbs. Whatb are your guys' two cents?

Thanks for the input guys. I have not bought those yet and since the guy even told me they weren't much different than what I have I guess I will go with the HID ones. Anyone got a link to some good ones but reasonably priced ones?

check at ddm tuning. http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/Apexcone-Raptor-HID-Kit

they're good hid's. i got some tyc clear headlights and a 35w for lows and 55w for the highs. the only thing is that you have to wait for the high beams to "glow up" before the full light comes out. but i love mine. there's plenty of threads on the tyc headlights/ddm hid's.

How do I install those? That is what I am going to get probably 1 set per 1 pay check so take 2 weeks to get all 4 bulbs but I have no idea how to install everything. A regular bulb I can do but those come with harnesses and stuff.

Have you had any problems with the harness getting too hot with the 55w? I just ordered the ddm 55w 10000k kit with the hid harness and error eliminator kit.
