Did a little paint stuff today, figured I would post some updated pictures. I still have to paint the chrome trim around the windows this weekend. Also I have a lowering kit on the way, it’s supposed to be here by the middle of the week. Once those things are done I may repaint my running boards, then get the front windshield tinted. Then last but not least, I’m going to move to the interior, try to find some nice factory leather front seats.

My opinion on a white truck is chrome. I would have changed the rear taillights to the one from the Denali as well as the third brake light. The front grill from a LTZ or z71 as well as all the side accents. If my truck was grey or black than I would go all black because black and chrome is not so hot. I think your truck does look nice with those rims.

OP's wheels are for sure 24's. GM Reps 24" x 10".

Looks good. Have you considered going OEM for the black window trim? You can get all OEM Tahoe RST part #'s and swap it, you'll have about $550-$650 in parts. It's a one and done option and will last a lot longer than paint.

I like the black trim on white look. I do also like white and chrome. Just a different look. White and chrome is more fancy.

I'm curious - what are you going to use to paint them? They are a hard plastic right? You going to use an over the counter can of black matte or black flat paint or something?

Mine are looking a little dull. I may try some plastic renewal first and see if that brings them back. I'm hoping to avoid having to take them off the vehicle and I don't want to mask / tape / plastic to avoid spray on the doors.

I painted them the other day after I got done painting some insurance jobs, I had a little down time before anything else was coming in the booth. But they turned out really good, I will send you a pic in the morning of how they turned out. It’s a can of black trim paint made by sims and it is absolutely amazing. We have been using this trim paint at the shop I am at for years now and have never had anyone come back with complaints about fading. I will say it’s rather expensive for a can of spray paint, but it is very much worth it and when used right it goes a long way.
