Void warranty???

Does anyone know if the gm lockpick voids the warranty for the radio. I need to have the dealership work on my navigation and I dont know if I need to remove it before I take it in. Help would br much appreciated.

If the part is the sole cause of the radio malfunction, and the dealership can PROVE it, then yes. Look up the Magnuson-Moss Act. It protects consumers against dealerships, manufacturers, etc that blame aftermarket accessories on voiding warranties if the aftermarket part doesn't directly affect the warrantied part in question.
