Get rid of Gemini?

Can someone tell me step by step how to remove or disable Gemini from my 2025 Yukon? I said "Hey Google" today as I have always done to take me to a particular place and up comes this "Gemini" which has never happened before and some guy is blabbering about how great Gemini is and he would now start the navigation which never happened, tried it a second time with same results no navigation. I hate this Gemini when Google has always been so easy. Luckily the third time I tried it Google came on and immediately started navigating. Any help getting rid of Gemini is appreciated.

I had not really driven the Yukon since a couple weeks ago when the dealer updated it to Android 14 so I suspect that is when Gemini came onboard. I don't want it and I am sure many others will not want it either!

Yep, that is what I ended up doing yesterday, have not driven the Yukon yet but should be fine now switching it from Gemini back to Google in my phone.

I had all things google removed from my Tahoe at a local auto electronics shop. Very glad I did that. I use Apple CarPlay for everything. It's vastly superior, and it doesn't spy on you, it does not make a permanent record of everything you say, and everywhere you go.
