the mileage on the "vehicle" is not really a determining factor.

Lol all im getting at is if the truck has no trans problems and shifts good its not bad to do with a high mileage truck not sure if the tranny was ever rebuilt

if the tranny functions properly with no mechanical or fluid condition issues then go for it.
