I pick up gauge clusters with the trans temp from 01-06 GM SUVs & Trucks at the local pick your part to sell. Typically with the age of these, the mileage is high, and up over 200k. What sort of equipment is required to be able to adjust mileage to match a buyer's mileage on their cluster? I'd like to be able to work on the clusters I acquire and can figure out technical equipment pretty easily. Anyone BTDT and can point me in the right direction for this? Thanks!

As I have a 2001, I can't help with the later clusters, but I used this YT video when I did mine. But be warned, this is tricky - if your soldering iron isn't hot enough you will lift the pad and ruin the circuit board. Practice on junk boards before tackling the good one. I screwed up 2 then gave up.
