Man, I'd love too, but I'm working all weekend. Inventory control this weekend and I'm one of the Leads so I have to be there. I have a crazy busy schedule for the next 3 weeks.
You guys have family in Johnson City or just visiting?

Houston guys can drive in for the day, or I can get a group rate on rooms....and then whomever wants to get a room can do so.

It'll be a damn good time, that I can promise..if you've been in and around these types of get togethers you know the drill.... parks have their rules.
Asuming I get enough positive fedback, I'll rent a pavilion with a grill, grillman will be grilling! I'll put up some of the food and you can donate whatever to me. Bring your own food to grill, that's cool too.
As for drinking, I'll check the rules at the park I'm targeting there in Round Rock area in Austin. I'm going to have my Sonic cup and a cigar as usual
So what I'm basiclly saying is, your on your own. The police usually patrol the parks to make sure things aren't out of control, so use your best judgement and not get us all kicked out

Trying to get a headcount for who would be interested in a meet in Austin on May 7th......BBQ, beer, and lots of trucks! Our last meet we kinda tagged along to another one and even with rain we still had 15-20 trucks and we kicked it and had a good time! This one I want to be much bigger and better!
If I can get enough folks interested in this meet, I'll rent out a pavilion with tables, grill, and plenty of parking for our trucks. The park also has volleyball, frisbee golf, horseshoes and even a place to fly remote controlled airplanes
So far, a few are already interested, and for those in Houston, Dallas and surrounding cities, I'll negotiate a group rate at a local hotel so we can get a cheap Saturday night rate.
I'll coordinate the place, the food, and the TYF resident grill man....all you have a do is bring ur truck!
And the park I'm looking at for the pavilion doesn't list any alcohol restrictions.

lemme know if u are doing anything in the DFW area....we just went to austin to the in laws so it'll be there turn to come up here the next visit to it'lll be a while before we get back down there...
