Tweak front ride height

Can you lower the front end just by shortening the leveling rods or will it just make the ride softer? I'd like to drop mine 1/2" while I'm doing the big brake kit.

neither, it would just mess up the calibration and would do nothing for ride height at all in any way shape or form
you could maybe mount the struts under the spindle or something of that nature and when that is all said and done a ride height re-calibration should be done.
