Turning Issue

Not sure if this is exactly in the correct section. My apologies if so.

99 Yukon SLT 4X4
When I turn 100% to the left, it almost feels like the wheel isn't being gripped correctly. Almost like the wheel/tire is an oval (Mental picture). However to the right is absolutely fine. Even though I run the truck in 2 wheel hi, a friend of mine thinks that this could be a 4WD issue. Any thoughts?

i dont understand "gripped" you mean like its coming off the ground or not getting traction?

It's not getting traction. but again, it's only when turned all the way to the left.

are you feeling this in the steering wheel or the tires? and if so both tires or one?

Just in the tires. And as far as I can tell it's just the front left tire

without seeing it idk really what to tell you could be a number of things . id check to make sure everything in the steering componets are tight and free of damage . and unless 4x4 is engaged your front should not slip at all . unless your on soft ground I.E rocks sand ect...

I was also told that if you have a 4x4 vehicle, your turning radius suffers. Is this true as well?
