I wanted to know if a 98 yukon can be tuned by HP Tuners like my 08 Sierra. The yukon needs a pick me up in the performance department, and im sure the speedo is way off with the 33" tires its got now. Im not looking to race the yukon (thats my sierras job) i just want it to perform a bit better and raise the MPG on it as much as i can.

Whats the difference in a Black Bear Custom Tune and HP Tuners custom tune? or does HP not tune a 98?

We use EFILive. HP Tuners can tune a 98, just a different software program.

And trust me, Justin @ BB Performance knows how to use his software VERY wisely!!! He got my Yukon running like I wanted, fixed my speedo and got rid of the Anti theft problem I was experiencing!!! Cant ask for more! Thanks again guys!!

There are some discussions on the HP Tuners forum about the GMT400 platform in general, but it isn't nearly as involved as the LS community support. That being said, it appears that it is picking up steam for the 5.7L vortec's.
