05s don't have PCV valves anymore.

Royal Purple is over priced snake oil

NGK TR55 plugs work best.

Stock plug wires do the job fine

Synthetic gear oils are great, I prefer Mobil 1

No need to run synthetic trans fluid. Cost isn't worth it.

How are the plugs to change on the 5.3's? Wanna do them soon but have been delaying it cause i don't want to find out the hard way that one or two of them are a bi*#t to remove. Thanks

Thanks everyone. I appreciate all the info. This weekend I pulled the wheels and rotated tires and crawled around to inspect and grease the chassis parts. Everything looked good except for the rip on the boot of the driver side CV, looks like that will be getting changed out. Other then that I did pick up a Catch Can and will also be throwing that in sometime in the next day or 2.
