i have an 08 yukon/denali
has approx 15k miles on it.
today when i was coming into my community i passed the gates and went over the same speed bump i have been going over for the past 6 months.
but today when i went over it i heard a noise/clink...then the check engine light came on!
when i pressed on the gas the throttle did not give much response.
when i was going up the drive way it barely made it up there.
so i put the car in reverse and went fine.
put it back in drive and throttle response was very very weak.
put the car passed drive into the lower gears and it would not move to "M"
when i drop it passed "D" it does not underline "M"
anyone ever experience this issue?

I guess it is possible that you could have knocked the o2 sensor loose, which would cause your chk eng light to come on. I know that some newer cars will go into a "limp mode" that will limit the speed and power of the car so you cannot do any further damage.

One thing you can try before you go to the dealer is pull the cables off the battery for 10-15 min and let it reset itself.

Also, have you gotten under the truck yet to have a peak?
