transmission oil filter pan size

How do I know whar size tranny filter to order? Rock auto has a standard and a deep sump part #. thanks Scott

You can look at the pan and tell if it's deep or not. What year is the truck in question? Only later years had the deep option from the factory.

It's shallow, the deep pan option didn't start until 98ish. Of course someone before you could have swapped a deep pan... Or even an after market one...
