Transmission Cooler and Gauge

I have an 03' burban with the stock transmission cooler but not trans temp gauge. I have a budget of $150 and want to upgrade the transmission cooler and add a trans temp gauge.

What should I buy and is there a DIY guide for this?

I came across this for the temp gauge which leaves me with ~$70 for a new TOC. Is this legit?

Thats not bad for $80.

I feel like with a $150 budget I'd just get the best trans cooler I could and forget the temp gauge. $150 gets ya the tru kool 40k which kicks ass.

It's legit. I added it and it looks OEM because it is. Turn around time was quick.

I did this mod last year. Bought a SS gauge face w/ Trans Temp and stepper motor. While it was apart, I added a LED white stripe lighting for my gauge lighting. View media item 24983View media item 25854

Believe I purchased both the gauge face & lights off Amazon. Soldered in all new steeper motors (7 total).

LED stripe was a bit tricky. I cut it off in sections where is was able to stick to the plastic backing of the cluster. Then I soldered it where the bulbs would connect. I'll have to look for additional pictures of when I completed it. But here's the parts I purchased.

Not at all. Wired them just like you would the LED bulbs.

When I did the bulbs they required resistors. Without them you can't dim the bulbs with the dimmer switch. Can you dim yours?
