Just to confirm, the ATF fluid needs to be Dexron 6 not Autotrak correct? The autotrak fluid is only for the transfer case with auto 4wd as I understand. I just wanted to make sure because my manual says to use Dexron 6 for both the ATF and transfer case.

I've got an 08 Yukon with the 5.3 4x4 (auto) and getting ready to change the fluids and want to be sure. Thanks for the help guys

if the manual says dexron 6 in both then you use dexron 6 in both
you can never go wrong by doing what the manual says

the first intructor i had at UTI drilled that into our heads when your working on a customers vehicle always go by manufacterers specifications if the manual says to us 5w30 always use 5w30 if it says use dexron 3 use it
