Looking for some answers on this topic. For those of us who choose to run a winter set of wheels since our climate stinks...what are you doing for your second set of wheels--TPMS or not? How does the system work? Say if choose not to run them in the winter set-obviously a light on the dash or D.I.C. will be there til my original ones go back on OR put a set in my winter ones and have them programmed. If my 20's w sensors are stacked in the garage by my Yukon would it mess with the truck essentially having 8 sensors near the vehicle??

Picked up a set of winter wheels and debating on doing the TPMS thing or not....looking for input from those who do these 2 seasons ;)-both NBS and NNBS gurus.

Thanks in advance.

As I am a spoiled CALI boy, I only do run one set all year.

However, would be interested to see what wheels and tires you picked up for your winter set.

Yeah I decided to try to save my 805's from any further pitting-have minimal currently(mostly inside the lug holes). They are nothing special but should see them by mid-week and then I will have them mounted and balanced. I will be throwing up a few pics afterwards....

I think I'm going to move the sensors from my current wheels and have them installed on these. Then I will probably get a new set for my other wheels since they most likely getting near the shelf life as it is an 06'. And I will be needing a set of tires for them as well but that can wait til the end of winter.

I skimmed thru a few threads in the NNBS section regarding TPMS but figured I get some fresh info from the 'winter mode' guys-hopefully one of them will chime in....
