Just put a set of OEM wheels from a 2015 Yukon on my 2013 Tahoe. Tried to program the TPMS sensors by putting the truck in program mode, then letting air out of the front left tire. Wouldn't detect the sensor. Does anyone know if there's a compatibility issue with the 2015 sensors vs. the 2013 truck?

you can't do it. you have to use the sensors for your years.

Bumping this up since I finally found out the answer today. I took the truck in to get the oil changed and tires rotated. Didn't say anything to them about the TMPS possibly not being compatible. Happily, they were able to program the 2015 wheels to my 2013 truck with no problem. Really glad that this worked out, saved me a big hassle and a few hundred bucks in new sensors!

I have 2015 wheels on my 2007. I couldn't program them by letting air out of the tires so I took it to the dealer to program them. The tire warning stayed off for 2 days then came back on. I had to install tpms sensors for a 2007 and haven't had a problem sense.
