Thinking Toyota alloy wheels would fit our 99TahoeBasic4x4, I recently bought 2021 4Runner alloy wheels. Maybe big mistake. I've only found 2 lug sets for these wheels. The 14Mx1.5 lugs fit the studs, but the fixed washer is to big to fit between wheel spokes. The 12Mx1.5 lugs fit the wheel, but are too small for GM studs. There may be lug nuts for this application, but I haven't found them. Also the Toyota wheels are lug centric and I now realize I need an adapter ring to center the wheels if I can find lugs. I've already placed an ad to resell the wheels, but thought to ask TYF for more information while I still have them. I was hasty. I'd prefer 17x8 GM Alloy PU take-offs if I could find them locally. TIA

Sell these so you don’t have to spend money on a setup you’re not crazy about. The wheels you’re looking for will show up. Have you tried local wrecking yards?

TU 4 the link. My best option is to find them within 40-50mi. They'll be cheaper here in mostly rural SW/OR. I hope to find alloy wheels to limit unsprung weight.

I may be buying a 1995 C2500 Light Duty today, for my girl. It has god awful 22" wheels on it and gonna be getting rid of them asap. I found a set of an unknown year Toyota 4Runner wheels with ties. 265/70R17 and 6 lug. Supposed to be the same lug pattern and have to check for caliper clearance and what kind of lug nut mount. If is a taper lug nut, all good. Anything else and I am walking away. I have told the truck owner that I will be deducting for the wheels problems. Here is a link to the truck and what the wheels look like.
