Totaled the Tahoe

Lost it on ice down the entrance to the Ski Resort leaving work today....Truck just careened into the entrance sign. Was in 2nd gear with the breaks and it slid and picked up a ton of speed...Had absolutely no control and just held on yelling FUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!

Air bags are LOUD and smell like shit...

that is just a fender and steering components maybe a new wheel and a new front grill and lights and hood. thats totaled? wow! i totaled a saturn and it was 50 times worse than that...

its cause of the year of the truck - millage - and the front end damaged had to of hit the frame support or in that area and also air bags if they pop and you have over i think its 65k its totalled

Think about it man. 12 year old vehicle, 171,000 miles on the body and transmission, new motor 35,000 miles ago. Airbags, Clutches in ALL the seatbelts popped when the bags deployed, Frame was tweaked, headlights, fender (inner and outer), hood, CA emissions unit where the second battery tray is, radiator, core support, bumper, grille, tire, wheel, fan and shroud.

In NC when it adds up to 75% of the vehicle value it is totaled...

no doubt! for almost 7K you can go out and get your another really clean OBS Hoe and have money left over to start applying mods to it again
