My trans temp started climbing and ended up being a stuck thermostat

Got a call from the trans guy. He says it's the 3/4 clutches, they're burned up. He doesn't understand why they were good when he test drove it after putting the trans line back on. Who knows.

I figured something like that happened when you had the combo of slipping and rising temp. Does he have it torn down already?

I also ordered these for my front lower parking lights.

5th gen. I think it means the bulb can go in the socket any way and it'll work.

Not yet, he's gonna try Monday night, since it's a side job. He says it's not too bad a job. I'm hoping. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I honestly believe its a bad ground on one of the heads, tails, etc...or on your truck somewhere tony...
Funny. I also noticed on my front bumper, the plastidip is all crinkled up from the trans fluid spraying all over the place. That's weird.

Just dropped off 3 gallons of atf.
Atf did this to the plastidip.

Weird. I think once the cold weather breaks I'm gonna try something different, other then dip. Probably more permanent, but out of a can.
Is it obvious I need brakes? Forgot to get a shot of the rotor.

I just read your entire build thread. All 68 pages. It’s like I binge watched a show on Netflix but now I’m caught up and have to wait for new episodes. I should’ve paced myself!!
Lol, yeah, lots of highs and some lows. Did you check out the video?

Your "cold start" video? I've watched it like 3 times. Sickest sounding Tahoe in all the land. I think you've inspired me to focus on performance mods once I save up some more money haha.
Def the way to go, lol. Thx for the compliment. I have a GN and I'd rather drive the Hoe!
