On a different note--since someone else's build thread isn't all about their vehicle ;)

being where your from im sure thats a beast of what ever equipment your building.

we have mainly fisher/western, im pretty sure the same co now. meyers, the worst of em all, then boss, witch is actually a cool blade it has hydro pressure down for real scraping power, but the fisher is the only one with a fixed blade that wont fold down, its got a trip blade on the bottom. it scrapes and stacks well.
SnoWay was the first plow with downpressure. They were more for homeowner than commercial though. They didn’t hold up well. I like Fisher best too. I visited their factory in Maine. That was an experience. Western and Fisher are one entity now. They both utilize the isolation modules and same harness. I like the cutting edge trip design better. So my picks from top to bottom are Fisher, Western, Boss (they’re heavy), SnoDogg, Hiniker, a shovel attached to my bumper and then Meyer. Fisher Vplow is the best. Especially in stainless. But the stainless is heavy just like the poly moldboards because they have more reinforcement ribs behind the boards. The new Western/Fisher fleet design went back to 2 plugs and the motor solenoid is on plow side so your power plug is direct battery feed. Pretty nice design especially if you have multiple trucks and plows.

Edit: notice the Fisher sign on wall. It’s one of those fiber optics signs. It’s bad ass and I had to beg borrow and eventually steal it from them guys at Fisher.

I sure hope that O2 solves the issue after all the BS you’ve gone thru to get here. Glad you got a head of your power fold mirrors also.
I’ve been peeking in periodically but never enough time to get get fully caught up or comment. I’m still kicking, just watching from the shadows. It’s been crazy getting house work done to sell, trying to step up with the daughter while the wife works late, got thrown back on midnights so it’s nap when and where I can and keep moving. Sucks that the snow has been non existent up north for snowmobiling but I’m looking at it as a blessing because I haven’t had time anyway. Finally got 9” the other day and another 3” today so I’m taking a break from life next week and heading up. I’m in desperate need of some seat therapy.
Pic from last weekend, only 3” on ground. Sad sight. He had to keep going north and still said it was all snirt!
