to 5th wheel or not

How many of you all that have purchased aftermarket wheels brought 5 as to have a full size matching spare vs just 4 and using the original spare? Whats your opinion on doing this is it a waste of $?

And when will you really ever use your spare? And if you use it, only to get yourself out of trouble and to the next tire store to get the problem taken care off and your nicer wheel mounted back on the truck.

Knock on wood, in 30 years of driving, I mounted a spare twice.

i haven't yet but i plan to pick up a full size matching spare. i will either be making a mount in the cargo area or look into getting a new rear bumper with a swing gate for it.

I have only had to use it (knocking on my wood block head, as my dad would say) 3 times in 18 years.
