tire spacers

im looking to put tire spacers on my tahoe its a 96, are they worth it and what size is recommended, i also want to know what the sizes look like, pics would be helpful, thanks.

I bought a set of wheel adapters/spacers about a year ago for my '96 Tahoe, because I bought a set of wheels with a Ford lug pattern for a steal. I believe mine are 1.5" and I love they way they look. I don't have any head on pictures without the lift, but here are some I have after I had them put on.
